Dona Cohn-Payne has been practicing personal injury law for over 35 years. She has extensive experience in automobile personal injury, civil litigation, premises liability and products liability. She has been heavily involved in all aspects of the litigation,arbitration and mediation process. Her cases have not only included automobile collisions, but pedestrian, bicycle, bus and motorcycle collisions. Additionally, Ms. Cohn-Payne represents clients who have been injured on negligently maintained property, both commercial and private.
Besides representing injured clients and their families, Ms. Cohn-Payne was also a discovery facilitator with the Sonoma County Superior Court. Ms. Cohn-Payne has acted as a settlement conference panelist for the San Francisco County Superior Court. She has been a consulting editor for Matthew Bender's Automobile Liability publication of Practice and Pleadings and a contributing editor of The Art of Advocacy and California Forms of Jury Instructions published by Lexus Nexis. Additionally, she is co-author of The California Automobile Collision Handbook. Ms. Cohn-Payne has been a guest lecturer providing her expertise in the area of premises liability law.
She has been a Florida State Bar member since 1983 and a member of the California State Bar since 1989. Memberships include: Consumer Attorneys of California, Sonoma Bar Association.
